Welcome to the Pacific Highway Upgrade, Brunswick Heads
to Yelgun website.
This is part of the $2.2 billion Pacific Highway Upgrading
Program commenced in 1996. The project was jointly funded
by the NSW and Australian Governments.
The RTA engaged Abigroup Contractors Pty Ltd to design,
construct and maintain the 8.6 kilometre Pacific Highway
between the Brunswick Heads South Interchange and the southern
end of the Yelgun to Chinderah Freeway.
An Environmental Impact Audit Report for the project has been prepared in accordance with the requirements of Ministers Condition of Approval 16. This report assesses the key impact predictions made in the EIS and supplementary studies, and details the extent to which actual impacts reflect the predictions. The report has been prepared on behalf of the RTA and Abigroup Contractors Pty Ltd by an independent auditor. A copy of the report can be found here.
The Brunswick Heads to Yelgun Pacific Highway upgrade project is now complete.
